I did a few shows with Lackawanna Community Theatre in the 1970's and early 80's with Marty. I was a younger teenager and he was always very patient and kind with me. Marty was a very nice person from whom to learn the craft of acting. He will be missed. God bless!

To the Miller family,
My sincere condolences on the loss of your brother/uncle. Growing up in Blasdell, Marty was my best friend for many years. We went on many an "adventure" at OMGC and St Francis. Paper routes, buses to movies in Hamburg, Buffalo, and Lackawanna. After paper route collections on Friday, a treat to ourselves at the old Colonial Kitchen. Pinochle games (thank you Mrs M), trips with Bill and Mike to NYC and Washington for sightseeing and theatre. Staying up late to watch political presidential nomination conventions and even attendance at a Nixon rally at the old Aud (ashamedly). As sometimes happens friends may grow apart but never forgotten. And what a wonderful brother he was. He was so proud of his brothers and sister and so watchful. I recall him already starting next years Xmas shopping for them the week after Xmas. God Bless you Marty.
