Obituary

of Hamburg, NY, beloved father, fisherman and business owner, David passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 19th 2020 after a short battle with small-cell carcinoma. A graduate of Frontier High School and friend to many, David was the long time owner of Peters' Fur Farm a mink farm that his father, Donald, initially founded. More recently, David was the owner of Green or White Landscaping, helping many Hamburg and Western New York area residents with their landscaping and snow removal needs. David was an advocate of small businesses and a final wish of his is to see his memory preserved through a modest scholarship at Frontier High School for students interested in becoming entrepreneurs. In lieu of flowers, his family would appreciate donations be made to help fund the scholarship. Please contact: angelagueli1@gmail.com for details. David is preceded in death by his parents Donald and Rose (Torok) and Brother Dennis. He is survived by his five children Angela Gueli (Thomas), David, Christopher, Steven, and Clayton. He leaves behind his two grandchildren, Amelia and Maddox, his sister Donna Rubeck (Ken) and many cousins, nieces and nephews. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.

Rest in peace David. I have so many wonderful memories of you starting nearly 40 years ago. Thank you for your friendship and for being there when our Don passed away (you passed on his 79th birthday). I'm so sad to hear you are no longer with us.

Rest easy old friend

With great sadness I will pay my respects to a dear friend today. I’ve known him since I was 15 years old. He was 25; so I called him “Mr. Peters” for the longest time (most likely longer just to annoy him). Such fond memories hanging at his house playing pool, softball in the corn field, around the world basketball, hopping in the back of his truck going to the fair, watching him bowl at Leisureland and play softball at the Nike Base. He was like a big brother to me; and definitely one of my finer friends (sad that life got in the way and we drifted apart). My hope is that his children always know that he loved them to the moon and his face glowed when he spoke of their accomplishments. His family was his everything! This isn’t goodbye “Mr. Peters”; it’s until we meet again!!!RIP Dave Peters❤️

My Condolences to the Peters Family. Leisure land bowling, Curts hot dogs, freezing out in the mink yard. I remember the first time we made beer, a lot of which was brutal but as time went on he mastered that! Here’s some pics I saved from my moms house....mike price
